Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than 20 years. Her most famed role is for her part in House in the series House on Fox. Her family was from Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she emigrated in New York City to study at Tisch School for the Arts. But very soon she was engaged in the city's nightclub scene, and was able to make enough headlines to get noticed by the press, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastation of AIDS. Then she used her experience along with her fame and training to write and compose an original musical entitled Positive Me as well as to appear in it. In the following year she was recruited by MTV to be the host of Awake on the Wild Side. She began to appear in television and film shows after the show ended. Initially, she was as a smaller role.
