Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most well-known character is Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's directed, produced and starred for her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also starred Kiss the Bride. Benson is the daughter born on January 8, 1977, of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson, the sister of her is an artist of distinction. His father was Jewish as is her mom. She was born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up in a Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Benson is a performer in numerous movies and TV series after Buffy ended, has also appeared in The Killing Jar. In the background, she put her writing skills into the Ghosts of Albion series and directed on projects like The Killing Jar in 2010 and Drones. Buffy claims that she's discovered and counted over 1800 Slayers, 500 of whom work with the Scooby Gang. Potentials now awaken as Slayers as they mature to a suitable level like Slayer Soledad.
