Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she took home American Idol in the first season. Not only was she pushed into fame by winning, but she also signed a record deal for multiple albums in the company of RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. Since then, she's recorded numerous studio albums, three of which topped the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly fell short of the top spot. They consider her to be one of the greatest success American Idol artists. When she was successful, she experimented with different genres and themes, frequently writing her own songs with her personal feelings. Because of her uniqueness and skill in the field of singing, she was praised by reviewers and was awarded a couple of prestigious awards. She was awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. Aside from her career in the field of music, she has also been featured on film and television. She is also the writer of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charities.
